Through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM, or STEAM with art included) students use collaborative project-based learning to propose, analyse and evaluate solutions to scientific issues, including the sustainability of our environment.
Prim-Ed’s STEM resources include whole class, pair and small-group activities that allow students to develop science inquiry skills as they build on their understandings of the world around them.
The STEM Projects box series provides opportunities for pupils to creatively apply skills and knowledge in science; craft, design and engineering; numeracy and mathematics; and digital technology, whilst completing short- or long-term projects.
Science: A STEM Approach is a series of books designed to enhance the teaching of science with lessons, assessments and four longer STEM projects in each book.
